Gasol Ga-sent Packing? – Rumors swirl that Lakers Pau Gasol Traded

Lakers fans, brace yourselves for a possible roster shake-up. Author Roland Lazenby reports Pau Gasol has been traded, possibly to the Houston Rockets.

Lazenby, author of “Jerry West: The Life and Legend of a Basketball Icon“, wrote the following via his Twitter:

“It seems we’ll be soon getting news that Gasol has been traded. No details confirmed, but he’s apparently gone.“

If the Lakers did indeed trade Gasol, they better be getting Luis Scola, Kyle Lowry and Kevin Martin in exchange for him, otherwise LakerMagic thinks it’s a bad trade for the Lakers.

Gasol is expected to play tonight against the Minnesota Timberwolves but it’s anybody’s guess as to how he’ll play given the trade rumors swirling around him on Lakers forums. The Lakers beat the Timberwolves handily last week (LakerMagic was in attendance) but Minnesota was without Kevin Love for that game. Pau better be focused because Love will play tonight and is coming off a string of career games.
